Congratulations to GPSA Safety Award winners; "Thank You" to GPSA members that contributed to the GPA Convention's success
Congratulations to the following GPSA Safety Award winners, which were recognized during the recent GPA Convention for their outstanding safety records in 2009: Barry D. Payne and Associates Inc. (Houston), CB&I (Houston), ENGlobal Engineering (Tulsa, Okla.), Master Corp. (Odessa, Texas) and Ref-Chem (Odessa, Texas). Congratulations also to GPSA Award for Safety Improvement recipient, URS Corp. (Tulsa, Okla.).
GPSA hosted another successful Vendor Night at the convention in Austin, with 21 companies that exhibited during the GPSA Early Bird Reception. The cost for Vendor Night provides companies with access to the display space, and the funds go directly to GPSA and are earmarked for the following year’s general session keynote speaker. This year’s keynote speaker, author and journalist Robert Bryce, offered a thought-provoking keynote presentation to a full room of convention attendees. Membership is open to any company, individual or partnership that provides services or supplies for the natural gas, gas processing, or related industries. Membership benefits are numerous and dues are $300 per year per company (with a $100 initiation fee added the first year). Each company employee is able to take advantage of all privileges that membership provides.
